Structural Composition 



Multiplier Chain:


It consists of chain body (roller chain) and special big roller, the diameter of big roller is usually 2-3 times of the chain roller (e.g. for 3 times speed chain, the diameter of big roller is 3 times of the chain roller), which is the key to realize “Multiplier”.


Workpiece plate (carrier plate):


 a panel that holds the workpiece, the bottom of which is in contact with the large roller of the speed multiplier chain and moves with the chain.


Guide rail:


supports the workpiece plate and chain, divided into upper and lower guide rails (the lower guide rail supports the chain, and the upper guide rail guides the workpiece plate to move directionally).


Driving system:


It consists of motor, reducer, sprocket, etc. to provide power for the chain.


Blocking mechanism:


 such as cylinder blocker, which is used to pause the workpiece plate in specific working position (such as assembly, testing position) to realize accurate positioning.


Tensioning device:

Working Principle:


When the speed multiplier chain is in operation, the small roller of the chain (which engages with the sprocket) rotates with the sprocket wheel, while the large roller moves the work plate by friction. Since the diameter of the large roller is larger than that of the small roller, the speed at which the work plate moves (the linear velocity of the large roller) is 2-3 times the speed at which the chain itself moves (the linear velocity of the small roller), and thus it is called a “doublespeed chain”. For example, in 3 times speed chain, if the chain speed is 1m/s, the speed of the work plate can reach 3m/s, which greatly improves the conveying efficiency.
